UK approves RWF 18 billion (£20 million) for the Land Tenure Reform programme.

On 30th July 2009: Martin Leach, the Head of DFID Rwanda and Hon. James Musoni, the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning are signing an agreement for a £20 million grant for the land tenure reform programme.

The funds represent the UK Government’s contribution to second phase of the programme in which every landholder in Rwanda will receive legally valid title documents that will give them the confidence to invest in, rent or sell their land at a fair price.
